Can hear or talk on vent!

I joined =(eGO)= a couple of weeks ago and loved it, so I wanted to try and see what the vent was like with eGO and I set everything up and it works fine. I connect to the server, get all the info and I get an error message saying

"Failed to get encoder for specified Codec.

This clients platform currently supports only the Speex codec. The server and /or channel is configured to use the 'GSM 6.10' codec."

I have never seen this before in any other vent channels I have visited so I am just confused on what to do. Please help!:O

Try re-downloading the porgram. Make sure it is from ventrillo.com and no where else.

I'm also on a mac, so I have the same problem Inc. As far as I know, there's nothing you can do unless the server switches to the Speex codec.

You can try downloading the Speex codec.

You don't need to download anything. And the server already has the Speex code loaded:" Use the channel marked "Codec: Speex".

Try downloading the klite codec pack. This adds a whole bunch of codecs, it should help.
