I think the best mg in dods is the axils cause it has 100 more ammo in it then the ailles but it dose overheat but you can keep a contorl on that. Lol i love it when you get a 5 kill streak with the mg you make everone feel owned.

I can't disagree with anything that you said. The shooting feels smoother, and the extra ammo is a plus.

while axis mg is deffo nice and pretty smooth ... i do like the US mg just a little better ... u can keep those corners pinned down by just laying on the fire rather than bursts like you have to with the axis mg. and 250 vs 150 bullets? doesnt really matter ... strategically reload ftw

The Axis Machine Gun is more for killing and covering flags, it has extra ammo, but it uses it faster, its less accurate and it over heats so you have to fire in bursts
The Allied MG is more for support and pinning, its rate of fire is slower so, and its more accurate, letting you pin the axis entrance to field from cafe

All in all both MGs have their pluses and minuses, I <3 both equally.

i best like the allies cause i love the allies weapons.

but the cal 30 is better because the accurate is good.:)

but i also like the germans.:)

It sounds better when you are shooting (like Natasha is better sounding in TF2). I prefer the MP44 and the K98 as well, although I have no preference over the other weapons except I like the look of the Colt better than the Axis pistol.

The MG42 is far more superior than the m1919 .30 cal browning (that's just a known fact - there was never a light machine gun that beat the MG42 during the entire war). The rate of fire is much faster, which overall makes it much more effective.

Blasphemy refuses to use an MG...true story.

The MG42 is definitely the better choice. The overheating is never a problem,so there is almost no downside (accuracy is not an issue with an MG, at least not for me).

A talented MG "artist" if you will, almost always chooses the '42. Sure it will over heat if you continue to fire for 20 seconds but with a little restraint you will be able to paint the canvas with the bodies of fallen allied troops!!!!

1200 rounds per minute, need i say more?

I prefer the .30 Cal, Its the only one I trust in a smoke of the middle on flash, the 42 is a gun for a careless MG, the .30 is for the MGer who knows his role as a support, and not an offensive player.

it depends on the level, but generally the mg42 is more usefull than the 30cal

Until death do us part

I like the MG 42 and the .30 cal about the same, but I use them differently. I spray more with the MG42 and paint more with the .30 cal. If a sniper breaks free in front of me the MG42 bails me out more even though I feel that I am more accurate with the Browning.
