Texas Meetup @ Screwattack Gaming Convention?

I was wondering if anyone in =(eGO)= is going to the upcoming Screwattack Gaming Convention in DFW?

It's July 3rd - 5th at the DFW international Airport at the Westin Hotel there.
Ticket's are a bit pricey, but it looks promising and if we need a meet up place we can always ransack a room or my company's booth (I work for Pwned.com and we're getting a booth this year).

Thoughts? Ideas?

Anyone interested or in the area?
 
how much are the tickets? if they arent out of this world exspensive im down...i live in frisco so i can ride the train or drive their. PM me for my cell number and i can try to pitch in a little if needed
 
Why are all the cool gaming related events I see in Dallas? I'm from Houston, and therefore cannot come.
 
grrrr I used to live 20 minutes from there... dang college made me relocate. I will see if I can't go, but with these summer classes and my work schedule, its not looking likely.

Tickets are looking to be around $40 but PRE-REG closes today I think. I'm getting a media badge, so I honestly have no idea how much tickets are going to be exactly.

Tickets at the door will be a bit more expensive.

Rex: if you need a ride and can make it to my place I can give you a lift, but I can't guaruntee you getting home ASAP if you get bored. I live off Preston & George Bush Turnpike

If we can't make an SGC meet work, I say we just plan a meet up at someone's house or a lan center or something. Anyone down for this idea instead?
 
I would go, but I'm only 13 and jack thompson is gonna be there, and I want to be able to play video games, not listen to a person who says video games suck.

Ooooh, that looks like fun. I've got family up in Plano, I'll just have to see if my schedule permits it to drive up there for a weekend.
