Ok, I'm a big team guy. In maps that rely heavily on team communication, such as the t side of dust2, I seem to only do well if I have a team that makes calls and executes those calls well. The majority of the time however, you will not find such a team. I try to take charge and unite the team, but my stats suffer a lot when I'm on that type of team that has players who just do their own thing and leave their teammates to die. So, how can I do well without a real team?

i do better with no team more kills for me 
you use them for bait and when they rush in and are getting shot you pop around corners to shoot the shooters! or you'll get them while they are reloading from unloading on the bait!
one big trick is really to not freak out. if you see 2-3 people rushing at you focus on one guy and do your best to take him down just like it was 1v1, then move on to the next. most likely you'll take at least 1 down with you doing it this way.
once you get good at it, there will be times when you'll take them all out because you were so calm and cool, and shot em all in the face!
PS. big tip is to focus in on one of the guys in the background that is crouched or standing still shooting at you while somebody closer is strafing around blasting away. aim on the guy not moving and take 2 easy shots at his head, he'll go down wondering, "why didn't he shoot the guy closest to him??" i do this all the time, and its hilarious

i agree with the 2 above me lol. Most of the time since there is no block, my team deems it necessary to stand inside me everywhere I move 2 and thats just annoying. Who needs a team in pubs anyways.
Run behind seaNNN and when he dies, kill the person who killed him.
Maybe some Basic Training could show you some pointers on team building?

seriously like 75% of the the time it works alone and if you find one other competent person you can run it until cts decide to camp half their team there.....which then of course means you rush b

im a team guy as well gotta just go short a its ur best bet long a everyone does and B usually fails but go occasionaly

Okay, FORGET YOUR TEAM! It's only you! That's it you!. You play your own game you watch your own back. You don't need a team to hear someone rushing or someone lower. You only need a team when your scrimming. That's when a team matters. You need to play SMART, SMART SMART SMART and SMART!
1. Being rushed on your own.
Look where your first exit is, and second where you can take cover. If you can do this then you will be able to hold them back, kill them all, or you can run away which leaves the rushers at 2 questions, to folllow or not to follow. So play it smart.
2. Observe your gun.
If you have a M4, your in good luck, a few shots can take out all 3. Remember you do a 2-3 shot burst at head level and then quickly move to the next. And if it gets tight just aim at the feet and start doing a controlled spray. NEVER CROUCH THAT IS YOUR WORST ENEMY! Crouching is only good for taking cover. If you do crouch on a moment you are being rushed then your hitbox comes together unlike standing, because when you stand your hit box is kinda spread out for the most part.
3. If you have an AK, then it's kind of tricky because even if you do a few bursts the recoil, forces you to lose aim. But, just like I said with the M4 you need to just aim for the head and do 2 shots not 3 because of the recoil factor. I do believe that the AK can also be useful if you only do 1 shot to the head because like most guns the first shot is the most accurate, and the size of the round the AK carries can kill someone if shot in the head with 1 bullet. You cannot panic when being rushed keep your hand lose and just pick em one by one. 2 out of 3 is a remarkable feat because all those people with guns a blazing only one of then could truly kill you.
3. If you have a deagle you are also in luck. Use that deagle to your advantage if you are being rushed look to give yourself covering fire by just shooting at them and they tend to shift and move making there bullets less accurate. Also, try to sense what they are going to do next such as strafing left and right. Prefiring with the deagle is also very successful because many people tend to strafe in the same spot left and right when they are in a gun fight. BUT ALWAYS LOOK FOR YOUR EXIT POINT. Aiming for the head is the biggest advantage with the deagle because of the size of the bullet. You can take out people who are rushing in no time especially in B tunnels. The first person who is rushing is your most crucial kill yet, because of he gets to your left or right flank then it gets kind of tricky and who you need to kill. So just shoot in the direction he is running in and you will most likely get him.
If all in all fails, use grenades flash yourself while getting out of the hot spot and go play a different area on the map, never stay in the same place. If your stuck in B tuns get out from T spawn and go somewhere else. If your stuck at DD in long go to cat and see if you can flank them. Work off of picks as much as you can.

I love forming little teams, both in CSS and TF2. It also makes you win like 95% more of the time when you do.

all i have to say lit, what you do is the same thing i do. most of the time (no offense to anyone here but its true) most of the players are mindless drones. all they think about is "kill kill kill" thats pretty much it. if you want team work, go look for scrims, or have a mic and lead the team, say where to rush, and they will follow. make sure your voice overpowers the others, and they will listen.
im not trying to be a bad person or anything, but the teams will usually not listen to team chat because they are not paying attention and wont listen to what they suspect is a 8 - 14 year old. again im not trying to be mean, but most people find it degrading listening to a 8 - 14 year old on the mic, for what reasons i have no idea.
so my only advice when playing in a pub and you want people to rush, do what i do, if they say rush long and everyone gets flashed in the tunnels then back out, YOU be the one to rush out. lead the team even if it means your death. you can always respawn. if you rush first then the rest will to.

to me, if i rush and die, but the rest of the team follows and takes the objective, then me dying caused us to win. dont care if my stats go down, but people want to win and if i can give it with examples, then why not? take one for the team as i always say.
and remember, you are playing in a pub, teamwork most of the time is less to nothing.

my plan always works. When your alone and they are rushing you, get a p90 and rush em back. I always get like 4 or 5 kills, then die....
