Apparently I'm a hacker now

I was playing a little TF2 this morning, and someone started accusing me of being a hacker. I started laughing because I was playing as a pyro, and I can't really imagine how you could have a meaningful hack for the pyro. Anyways he got pissed and started calling me a noob and stuff so I ignored him and took it as a compliment. This is my first time ever being called a hacker, and to be frank, I'm a little proud. Just thought I'd let everyone know this milestone in my gaming career :)
 
My friend got accused of hax, because he set a cloaked Spy on fire as a Pyro.

90% of Pyros hax on that logic
 
you handled it correctly. The pyro can cause serious brain trauma which causes people to drool and yell and scream and take the football and go home.

Good job sir, carry on with your W+m1 pwnage.
 
Yeah, there are a lot of people out there where if you pull something off you are automatically hacking. Sounds like you handled it, usually a admin will tell them to stop accusing people of hacking in-game. Does feel pretty good though :P
 
One of my best friends takes screenshots or condumps of every time he gets accused of hacking, especially the hilarious ones, i.e. "OMG There's no way you can headshot me as heavy two times in a row when you're a sniper that's hax!"

He has a rather large collection that he's accumulated through the years of gaming, back to Firearms for the original Half-Life, as well as DOD and CS, CS:S, TF2, etc.
 
I was accused of hacking as a pyro once.. but a sniper who would stand scoped out in the open... "omg stop using teleport hacks!"
 
Join the club, I'm accused of hacking on a regular basis. It's always a good laugh :)
 
Dont feel too bad.

someone accused me of wallhacking / maybe aimbot also (dont recall) about 2 weeks ago.

I was playing Heavy 0.o
 
ha ha, very nice.... Just wait until people get to know you as a skilled player, then they will just start saying nice to your miracles you pull off. I once just randomlly shot a spy siting right next to me as demo. I didnt see him the whole time. all he could say was WOW nice, how did you know i was their.
 
I had others accuss my team mates for hacking in Blackmesa. Because the were spies and being killed without notice. I was a spy myself just cloaked 24/7 around A point relay info to my team mates. hehe
 
I've been banned from about 20 TF2 servers for hacking. Makes me lol every time.
 
Yea, you handled it pretty well, although if you were getting a little annoyed or just didnt like him carrying on calling you a hacker you should have just told the admins to give him a quick warning.
 
I got accused of hacking when i used to play HL2 DM.
I was part of an elite sniper team (thats why i have the SS on my Steam name) and I was a master with the magnum and zoom advantages and headshoted almost every time.
So once i was on my usual server when a 12 or 10 year old comes in, so u know i hid on the usual place (behind a patch on the map) so he was saying hi and all and then starts saying through his mic: ''Im way better than u in this game'' and starts the search for me, so he came close enough to my lil' safe house and i kill him, then he said: ''OMG WHAT THE F***!!! HOW THE F*** DID U KILL ME!?!?!?!'', then i calmed him down and killed him agan, with a headshot again and starts mic spamming and throughing insults at me. again. and that happened like 3 times more and he resigned and said: ''Thats it, im out, i dont play with FU***** HACKERS!!!!''. So he exits the server and then he came back with friends. And the same happened to the 3 of them and they acused me of hacking for almost 1 hour.
 
Yeah, I've been banned from a lot of servers as well, pretty much from health hacks when playing demoman, to aimbot when playing spy..... unbelievable...

But that is why nowadays I pretty much don't go anywhere else than eGO servers
 
I got called a hacker once because I was able to hear spy's footsteps behind me and would whip around and jarate/kukri them before they uncloaked :D

I've also been called a hacker for repeatedly shooting a cloaked spy in the head on accident when trying to shoot someone else :P

Gotta love Blackmesa--It turns me into an automatic spy killer sometimes :D
 
It seems to me that lately there have been A LOT more random pubs calling people cheaters...
