If their on fire you extinguish the fire. If their just regular old teammates nothing. However do NOT listen to the other team when they say they start dripping wet when your throw Jarate ,at your teammate, because that's what happens when you throw it at spies.

Yeah.
If your teammate is on fire, it will extinguish the fire, if they aren't on fire nothing. If it's a spy in disguise he/she will turn yellowish and start dripping pee and in that case, kill it with fire.
