I need help!

Let me get straight to the point My graphics card fan just completely stopped idk it might have been stopped for like 4 days but idk what should i do im on my brothers laptop.
about 2-3 weeks ago the fan would somtimes stop but i thought it would go away but now it has completely stopped i got it about a month ago so idk i turned off the computer and everything i took the card out and thats it idk what i should do. Plzz help

First, take some canned air and clean all the dust out of the inside of the computer and in the fan of the video card. Then see if the fan starts up because dust could be trapping it from turning.

If that doesn't work, I suggest buying a new video card unless your well prepared to search high and low for a perfect match replacement fan or an after market cooling device.

Please give us the complete make,model,etc of your video card so we can do some research on it.

compressed air does the trick most the time.

Also did your upgrade from a lower-end card? Your PSU might not be putting out enough power to have the fans running

OK im going to go get a air duster.... ill tell you if it works.(hope it does)

OK it works now. But if it happens again I'm just going to send it in to bfg and they will fix it or replace it.

You should take some canned air to your computer at least once a month. This will allow your computer to breath and make your hardware last longer.
