Can't open console in CS:S

I don't know why but I can't open console, I enable everything so I can open the console, but it's still not working. CS:S is the only game I have that can't open console. I press the right button and nothing happen (tilde or ~)

Yup.

Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Developer Console (~)


Another option is to go into the Play Games menu, right click properties CSS, then go under advanced and type
Code:

-console

they both do the same thing though.

Found this on a forum, hope it helps. I dont know what Play Games menu is, but I think its on about launch options.

It means the 'My Games' tab on the main Steam window. So yes it means launch options.

Here what you want to do. Go to your CS:S -> cfg folder.

This is what it's for me
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yahan01\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg

Now go to your config.cfg and edit it.
Now at the way bottom of the document put

bind "`" "toggleconsole"
