best final fantasy ever made?

[hondo]

Just figured id see what ppl thought was the best FF ever made post away!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Kayteen]

Biased opinion here.

FF7 because of how epic it was at the time. I cant think of another game before it that a MAIN character of the story died and does not somehow come back (Looking at you Chrono Trigger)
FF4 because its my first love

[DjO]

FF7 hands down

[SogeKing]

FFIV. No need for explanation, just FFIV.

[e MpTy]

FF7 need I say more?

[acefisher1]

My favorite is Tactics.

[Geno]

My Picks would be Final Fantasy 7/8, and Tatic

Overall though the one I had the most fun playing was Final Fantasy 9

[yellowbadger52]

TACTICS! not the crappy gameboy version but the original playstation one! It is my favorite by far! X takes a close second though.

I liked V's gameplay the best out of the ones I've played (the old ones ), but VI (III on the SNES) was the first one I ever played so it's good too. IV is good, but nothing special, the story isn't THAT much better than the others.

[hondo]

well since i made the post i think i should add my fav's lol

FF7 hands down-also loved the follow up ac!
ff 10
as well as tatics

[PeterGriffin]

Ffv :d

[JunK]

7 bar none
however if you guys liked FF7 i highly suggest Star Ocean: The Second Story. However to try to buy it now is like...insanely highly priced, just like FF7....but i actually liked it better than FF7. It is the best RPG i've played yet

ff7 then 8

well id say ff7 is the best hands down. this is because its the first 3d final fantasy and it was absolutely epic at the time. No game was quite like it, it had an amazing story and i think it was the first videogame to make someone cry. my close second would be 8. many say they didnt like 8 but i thought it was awsome. i liked the summons and being able to level them. the cutscenes were awsome. i loved the storyline (being a mercenary team for hire and going on missions and the love story)the card game was kind of fun and addicting. i really liked ff8 but i give 7 the nod because it holds a special place in my heart as it does millions.

I loved:

FFIX
FFVI
and
FFIV

Of course FFVII is like amazing...but does it really need to be mentioned? We know everyone loves it.

[Zegz]

clearly its Final Fantasy 9. Best characters of all time and best story

[DjO]

well I think 7 was the best but I did enjoy 8 and 9 as well but for the life of me I couldnt get into tactics at all! I tried and tried but I guess it just wasn't for me

[Carmine]

tactics advance, because it is fun.

[i feel a psalm comin on]

either 7 or 8

anything above 9 were pure garbage

especially 12
12 was an exact ripoff of star wars
think about it

[OSVG]

Chrono Tri...... Darn um

Tactics and Tactics Advance NOT A2 b/c A2 was bad.

xD what's wrong with you people? What ever happened to FFX? It's perfect in every way. The story was great, the characters were perfect, it had the best FF combat system, great gfx, and best looking summons. C'mon! But equally as good is FF8. FF7 is awesome too, but way to over rated. And honestly, Tidus was the only FF character that wasn't ______-phobic (if ya know what I mean.) All these other main FF chars were emo.
