Its official, My dad is the man.

Ok my computers HDD died, and the shop offered to install with my programs and vista 64 bit on a 250gb HDD for 100. He said no.

Instead he bought me a whole new amazing computer.
EVGA 280GTX Super Clocked.
Antec 300
Nspire 750w
4gb DDR2 Gskill with heatsink
Western Digital 640gb HDD
AMD Phenom X4 9750
Turtle Beach Montego Sound card
Vista Home Premium
ASUS M3A78-EM Mobo
and with 1 Year free parts and Labor.

Bad News is that there is a sticker on the side panel so that if i want to remove the side panel, i would have to remove the sticker and it voids the warranty. So even if there is a problem and I know how to fix it, such as me wanting to clean the fans, I have to take it into them and wait 3 days for them to fix it.
Also, I have do dl all of my music and games again...

Ill have it by Wednesday. But I wont play games until I get my music and everything downloaded on Thursday.

That for $1087? I don't see why they couldn't of put a Phenom II in there.
They skipped out on the motherboard and PSU, the PSU has only 18A on 2 +12V rails, and the motherboard is mATX still a great motherboard though.

Cool amigo! It sounds nice.

Speaking of cool dads... When I was trying to get my first car together I was failing miserably. Car wouldn't run, was a piece of crap, etc. So my dad just said, "(F-word) it!" and bought me a 1979 Firebird Formula. It was schweet.

So !up for all cool dads out there.

nice, just like my dad, i had an old computer that had so many problems with it, my dad just one day up and said 'lets go get a new one' :p

all hail cool dads XD

Specs:
19' LCD monitor
AMD Tri-Core 3.2

My dad pays for half, i saved up 500 he covered the rest. :D

And congrats with the computer thing.

My dad just builds my computers :) But if he built me a new one, I'd be suprised.

Leave the sticker on for a month or two then take it off. If the computer is complete cheap crap, you will notice after a month.
