And i uploaded a pic, but it doesn't show...soo.....i would really appreciate some help.

Host your image on a place like imageshack.us or photobucket.com. Get the direct link and in the sig box type

at the end of that link you have in your sig and it will work

The way you can get an avatar is going into the avatar edit option and from there you can upload from the saved pictures or you can go into a website find a picture and find a link and do copy link location and just paste it in the http one.
