I don't know if this is happening to just me or what, but its really annoying and is making me dislike playing on eGO servers.
Its the point system...
When i get killed i lose 18-25 points but only gain 1-5 points for a kill ( usually 1-2 points ) this making it impossible to hold my rank. For me to stay even in points i would need to got 25-1. to stay even in points!
why is this? is this happening to anyone else??

before it did this once and a while but now it seems to be for everyone i kill / die from.

its seriously ruined my game cause its all i think about, and i cant enjoy the game

Do maps make a difference in points too? Even if I have a sub par record on some maps I'll be plus 100 points and when i'm 50-10 on other maps ill be even or maybe even minus points.

Yeah Happened to me for 2 weeks? But you will drop and stop at certain point... Then you will start going back up. This is good news. It might mean we're getting a lot of new recruits and new people on our servers =P

its because we have alot of newbies on the server, and Hlxstats fails at trying to handicap the higher ups

knife kills and Nades get high amounts

and it seems that the Original Servers (Dust2 and Office) have more regulars and you dont have 25 pointers as much

i used to actually care about my rank, and play for points etc etc...not only does your eGO rank go down, but globally too. Its pretty crazy, but its true you won't enjoy yourself is thats what you're worrying about. I do agree its annoying to see it after every death tho hahaha

best thing i suggest is to stop worrying so much about it. eventually it will go back up. have fun and kill kill kill.

Its the system, of course you Frank have been playing alot on eGO servers and probably have built up a large amount of points therefore when you get killed by a new player with less points on the server you lose more and they gain a lot more. When you kill someone you are probably usually killing someone with alot less points than you therefore you only gain about 4-5 points. You are basically the veteran and therefore the system takes away more points when you get killed and the noobies gain alot more points for killing you. Its how the system works and its the same on almost every server.

Well, thats why u get bomb plants and defusals 10 points each and if your teams win by defusal/plant you get extra 5 points and if you get kill streak during a round they give you even more points + headshot points, Yeah a lot of ways to get points

I totally agree with Frank. It seems unfair that the scoring system is favored to the new comers. It shud be counted on how the person was killed
