what kinds of music do you guys hit up while playing

for me mostly drum n bass, trip hop, and a lot of death metal

which is actually quite different from what i normally listen too

Yeah, same. I listen to Trance while gaming as well. But what's really funny is listening to some really epic classical music like Requiem for a Dream or O Fortuna. Download those two songs and play some CoD 4 to it. You'll feel like you're in a really epic movie.

Once, I was study for a Physics exam at 2AM in the morning listening to Requiem for a Dream and I've got to tell you, I felt as if I was in a really epic studying movie!
