I used to but i use to listen to Bullet for my valentine and Devil Wears Prada and a little portion of Slipknot.

Now i listen to metallica too.

Not really I listen to Megadeth and Pantera as heavy metal.I mostly listen to hard rock and classical music.(ex:Metallica, AC/DC, Disturbed, etc.)
I forgot how i got into rock but I'm glad I did because I'm taking guitar lessons and hope to become a musician.

Good choices =DI used to listen to these bands all the time. I listen to TOOL and Killswitch and anything with heavy riffs and crazy drum beats.

Btw tattered, Nirvana isent metal.

Cannibal corpse are one of my faves along with the Locust and Slipknot and pantera.... and earlier metallica and nirvana.... I think thats it.

Love Metal. All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu (old Atreyu), Bullet for My Valentine, Insomnium, In Flames, Tool, Killrbuckeye (Youtube Artist), Disturbed, United Nations, Chevelle, and a crap ton other bands but I can't think of them. Glassjaw is my favorite of all time though. I can actually play All that Remains and As I Lay Dying on guitar.

I listen to Paramore as well, But I wouldn't consider it Metal. =(.
