Steam issue

Sorry to post 2 threads in 5 minutes, but on a completely unrelated topic, CS:S stopped working for steam, I literally played it 9 hours ago, went to bed, and woke up and its not working anymore.

I click it, says opening CS:S then starts 'validating files' then NOTHING!

Now, fixing it appears to be easy. Last time this happened I just reinstalled steam. But I'm wondering if its going to affect my affiliation with eGO (stats, steamids, plinks, fbg etc)

If you guys know of an easier way tell me, at the very least tell me if I'll be ok reinstalling it so I dont run into problems.

I know it looks bad considering 10 minutes ago I posted a config that I said was awesome, but that has nothing to do with my game messing up, I played on that config literally all day yesterday lol

I don't think your stats will be affected if you uninstall.

yeah but will I have to re-verify and do all that other stuff, I'm not worried about my gameplay stats (they're not the best stats in the world) just worried about having to do the 'new to the clan all this registering' stuff

Ok, got it to work, thanks anyway though, but for future reference if this ever happens to you it worked for me to right click CS:S > Properties > Local Files tab > Validate Game Files

Re-installing wont affect anything, you will still have your steam-id, nothing will be affected.

Lol yeah i suck too. And no i've uninstalled plenty of times while i was in this clan. Nothing will be affected
