Mouse Feet Worn Off?

Hello everybody! Just wanted to share a neat site I found.

I bought a vx nano the other day for my macbook, and being new and all, it really shed light on how slow my mx1000 had become now that the feet had worn down. It is at least 3-4 years old, and still rocking otherwise.

Anyway, I found this site, Slick Surf that sells replacement pads for cheap. Got my kit today, and WOWZERZ! These little guys rock. If your mouse feet are worn, I highly recommend this stuff. It's smoother than the new vx nano, and it was $5 including shipping.

if they don't have the exact fit, just get one of the generic kits. They stick up high enough that it doesn't really matter where, or what size they are.
 
what theyre talking about is the traction for the mouse. stick them where the original padding (or feet) used to be & you get the traction back.
 
Yeah ok I can understand that theoretical situation.

But mine's just a piece of plastic with laser.

And that's what it's always been. The bottom has been plastic. No feet, no traction.

That's what mousepads are for.

Well, combine a really nice mousepad such as Steelseries Qck with very slick gaming mouse feet like polytetrafluoroethylene (Yeah, I read the back of my G9 mouse package). It feels like my mouse is on top of ice or is hydroplaning. Although it could be better. When I first got my G9, I used it on my desk for about a week or two and the feet got a little scratched up. I'm not sure if I'll need to replace them or not. For now, I doubt it.
 
high friction=slow reaction=less kills. The most important part of anything is the part that you touch. A good mouse is key. A smooth mouse is essential. I notice I get on average 15-20 more points per round with the feet on. No joke.
 
unfortunately for some (like me) my mouse also has feet/pads. although it's a tiny thing - they are worn down. since it's a cheap-o mouse from DELL and not a gaming mouse I'll just soon buy a new one - prolly a logitech
