All Nighters

[Baen]

All nighters is what we do at my paintball club and it's tons of fun. Basically what it is, is you start gaming or playing at a certain time and finish the next day. For an example 8pm to 4am would be an all nighter or shorter.

I think it would fun if you put some thought into it.

Since I think of it as a kind of big achievement maybe it could be an eGO achievement and it would help the servers since they die at like 3-5 am-ish.

Y'know, this would be a great idea. I'd be totally willing to help run int, too; I am usually on during the off hours that it would span.

here's my 2 cents, pick the server that is lowest in rankings at the time, and di it in that server.

or if this turns out to be succesful, if you can do it 2 or 3 times a week, if a server has a rep of being full all night, people will come to playing in it later at night. i've heard of servers running all night, there's aren't many of them, but we could make it so we are one.

I think the point that Baen is trying to make is not use the Fun Server, but go take over one of our 24/7 servers and help it rank up by keeping it full all night. We don't need 32 eGO members to fill the server, if there are say ~20 or so, the pubs will notice and hop in. Then there is a chance for some late night recruiting as well.

Sounds like fun and i think it would need to be on arena or gravelpit there usually unpopulated.
