for a mouse do i need one of those gaming pad things?
As far as a gaming keyboard goes. I don't really understand the concept at all. As long as the keys do what they're supposed to the way they're supposed to do it, then your keyboard is as good as it's gonna get. If you want back lit keys, or a different style of key, that's fine.
I have a G11 "gaming keyboard" and honestly I don't know what makes is a "gaming keyboard" other than 18 macro keys that I've never used.
