HLX stats. How it works

Hey all,

I thought I had a handle on how the stat system worked and I've been working to improve mine but when I logged out the other night I was FINALLY near back to 5500 again, for me this is my highscore. I logged in tonight to find I'd lost nearly 650 points without being logged in. I know that the reason for playing isn't your ranking or whatever but it's part of what I like about the eGO servers and it's how I track my performance etc. Any ideas what could have happened here? was there a server glitch or what? Thanks for the input.

And I just got an answer from ShoutBox...excelent feature there.

HLX stats are only kept for about 28 days if anyone else happens to have a question about the same thing. Thanks Rellik.

thats not really true, you don't lose your server points no matter how many days you are inactive. IE: you have 9000 points on eGO servers and you don't play for 2 months, you come back and start playing again, u still have your 9000 points, you just don't have how many flag caps, capture blocks, and other action stats b/c those only last 28 days. the stats themselves do not simply disappear. did you play on the sniper server? does someone else have access to your account? those are the only reasons i can think of for losing 600 points w/o knowing ur losing a lot as you are playing.

Me I no longer care for the points, like in CSS 2 days ago, I don't know if you're familiar with the CS game mode with consist of rescuing the hostages, well I was a T and some CT came in, I didn't really had time to plan my attack, so I line up behind a hostage (note: I had a auto-shotgun) shot it kill the 2 hostages after line up upstairs and got to shot the guy who had the hostage but shot the hostage instead of the guy ( mouse problem lool). So basically I lost 40 points for killing 3 hostages, so I think points just gets out the fun of the game.
