Mp3 failing

im sorry if this is breaking any kind of rule hear but google has faild me.
i cant find any kind of help with the problem i am having.
i boght this brand new sony walkman NWZ-E436F and my computer downloads the drinver and reconigzes it and i can put stuff into it BUT once i take it out of the USB jack and i put it back in thats when the problem starts
i get.
this device cannot start (code 10)
but i can like uninstall the driver and put it back into the usb jack then it reinstalls the driver. then i can put stuff into it again but once i take it out and put it back in the same problem happens again...

again im sorry if this breaks any kind of rule.

Uh... I cant really understand what you are saying. Are you saying your mp3 has a problem with disconnecting? If so make sure you have the ready to disconnect because some mp3's need to have a waiting period before you disconnect it. Like an ipod waits until everything is done syncing.

yea sorry ppl tend to not understand what i am saying lol

like im saying i connect my sony walkman to the computer the computer reconigzes it just fine after i disconnect from my computer and later a connect it again but i get
this driver cannot start (code 10)

i hope thats a lil more understanding

Yeah, lava, he's saying that when he attaches it to the USB port, then disconnects, everything is fine. Then when he connects it later, he gets "This driver cannot start(code 10)"

yea it is strange...
i have tried many of the USB ports i have (theres like 10) and all the same problem so its kinda baffling me to why i get this problem

If anything can't you return it? You just bought it correct? Just say it's broken when you tried it out or whatever and they'll give you a new one. Make sure it's not scratched.

yea i can return it i have this 3year returning offer of somekind like if theres a problem with it and i cant fix it they will give me a new one so if this problem wont cease to exsist ill just get a new one

Mhm, if the problem persists then do something to your computer. Like a complete OS reset. Put in your recovery CD and reinstall windows and if that doesn't work either blame sony haha

Do you try waiting a bit before disconnecting it? Or do you just take the usb cable out of it immediately after syncing?

That's overboard I think. Now, searing google this device cannot start code 10, I received this:

Internal CD Rom Error Code 10
Yes, I have experienced exactly the same problem. I installed iTunes on my Laptop and this caused the CD Rom drive to fail. I know this to be the case because I managed to get the CD rom to work (Dell told me a couple of registry entries to delete), but as soon as iTunes updated, the same problem reappeared. Unfortunately I don't know which registry entries to delete, as my laptop is no longer under warranty and so I am now stuck with a useless drive. If anyone knows which entries to delete, that would be greatly appreciated.

Doing some digging around, it seems that there's some kind of compatibility issues b
computer. Users using XP machines, however, didn't encounter the problem that you were having. Doesn't really help much, but that's the best I could find online. Hope it helps.

hmmm yea that might help i bit thanks alot but there were some things unrelated to wat i have on there haha
like i dont use itunes
i do have Vista a
and theres nothing wrong with my CD-rom
but this has givin me a little insight

well after i did sync a movie on there there was nothing i found that says remove safely or disconnect so i just yank it out
and thak you guys a whole bunch for taking your time to help me

You tried posting on the forums for this player yet? Try doing that, I've fixed my MP3 Player by getting help from the official forum, before it killed itself for good.

Just be happy that you don't see a white screen on your MP3 player, because one day when I turned on mine, WHITE SCREEN. My Mp3 today is dead...
