Seemingly knock-off of TF2. (Some Korean game)

At least they didn't end up having the sniper get backstabbed. That would have annoyed my so much more. Still, this game will never be better than TF2. I saw no Engi's and No Spy's so it would never be as fun.

But can't you see the obvious similaritys in the trailer to scenes from the Team Fortress 2 Trailer and some of Valves other videos like Meet the Scout. They have a rocket jumping soldier, a baseball bat weilding speed class, almost identicle grenade designs and quite alot of similar game physics. If valve were envloved in making this, or were recieving a share of the profits then I wouldn't mind but these people are ripping off a Multiplayer masterpiece. Unacceptable.

This game is showing how its the same as TF2 AND how its different at the same time. Pleas read the following Ex.
Just watch two stupid guys as they show up each other by doing the same stupid thing about the same stupid way and trying to convince the other stupid guy his way is better.

After thought. This "knock off" forces value to make TF2 better. Now that TF2 isn't the only class basiced CP/CTF/PL, Value will be forced to update/fix stuff

This game is just a "girl" verson of a wannabe TF2 game seems like...A fail indeed. All Valve has to do with TF2 now is get all the updates for all the classes and movies...then make the girl classes. Now, that would be awesomeness.
 
I like the idea of it, honestly. It's like a game based on the film "Small Soldiers", done right, not like the crappy kid-version game they made for it.

LoL.. not much of a case ? They copied the videos and trailer to the T.

It's definatly a Korean knock off, and i dunno if valve can do anything about it over there, but they should try..

It's not even an FPS, so it can't be that much of a ripoff. Everything except sniping appears to be done in third person.

More Small Soldiers than TF2. Class based shooter games don't stop at Team Fortress. And the trailer looking the way it did gave it worldwide coverage for being TF2-esque, so it's accomplished what it's supposed to do, get people talking about it.

I think I'm going to play it when the beta opens.

There you can also see that they have ubers, overhealed "floating health symbols" and pyros. Not to mention they blatantly stole scenes from some of the "Meet The" videos.

And the thirdperson gameplay is identical to Battlefield Heroes. It's spot on same kind of movement, if you've played BFH you'd notice in the trailer.

Obvious lack of originality is obvious.

I understand where some are coming from because I do see some of the similarities, but going as far as signing a petition to stop this game is too much in my opinion. As others mentioned video games' styles are imitated all the time. After all it does have some unique features...
 
You guys are watching a trailer not gameplay. Go search Steparu H.A.V.E online gameplay and tell me its just like TF2. For one in this game all characters can have all the weapons(meaning theres no classes but only people with different weps). All of the characters are also fully customizable(hair,clothes,face for the humans) You can't judge a game by its trailer and just because you see a sniper/soldier/heavy doesen't mean its a TF2 ripoff.

I really wish people like the guy who posted this video would watch gameplay and not a trailer.

I wouldnt play it, it looks really bad and the map looks like toy fort kinda...as far as the characters, yeh its a rip off. They have practically all the same looks, demo has what appears to be an eye patch as well...what next the doll was made in scottland. 2 thumbs down.

Sure, the graphics are cartoonish but does that mean it's a TF2 rip off? No, not at all. There have been other games that look like this. Are they all rip offs of other games? ;)

On top of that, the gameplay is nothing like TF2. If you have to compare it to another game, it's more like Quake or Unreal Tournament than TF2.

It's certainly not a rip off.
