Look, all this can be summed up very quick so I'll go ahead and say it.
There are those who use the system, those that don't and don't care, and those that don't and want to carry a torch and pitchfork to the user's houses. And to be honest, I only see a problem with the last one.
If there is a loophole you can be damn sure there are people that are gonna use it. I personally don't want the program, because I don't idle. For those that don't care, like me, it doesn't matter if someone uses the program or not. For those that do, it comes down to the argument that "he/she is getting items faster than others and I don't want them to, because it's unfair."
So, a fuss is made between party A and party C. But something needs to get thought of here. If the program didn't exist at all, people would still be idling. But it wouldn't be in a program. It would be in servers. Everywhere. achievement_idle servers would fill the boards again and steal away ranks from more deserving servers. Those that don't go here would go to actual servers and just sit in spectator. In the end, I would rather have them idling in a program than idling all over the server list.
