How to put a picture in your sig

Click on:

My Account
Pictures and Albums
Add Album
Title: signatures
public
submit
Upload Pictures
Browse
Select your picture {small files work best mine is 447 pixels by 167 high. Large pictures give the thread pages scroll bars and you can't see the whole thing. You can add text with powerpoint or whatever and do a screen dump. Then crop and resize the picture with a photo editor.]
Upload pictures
Save Changes
Double Click the picture.
Select the second line of text (BB Code)
Right click
Copy
Click on the down arrow to the right of My Account
Edit Signature
In the text box right click and paste.
Save Signature
Viola

You don't need to create an album. You can use a non ego file storer and use the link from that but they are not 100% reliable. If you use an edgegamers album if the website is up, so is your picture.
As an added bonus you now know how to create an album in your profile. :laugh:

Well uh. Save an image-file on your computer, and then go to imageshack.us and select browse and find the image you want. After that click upload, once it is done copy the topmost URL, come to the forums, click on the arrow next to the My Account-button and select 'Edit Signature'. In the box paste the URL you copied in between

- tags like

Way easier. But that, of course is one way of doing it.

When Duality:

1. Lists all the steps needed to logon and create an account on an offsite file server
2. All the steps to add pictures to an offsite file server.
3. All the steps to find the links on the offsite server.
4. Can recommend an offsite file server that is more reliable than edgegamers servers.

I will concede that my thunder has been stolen.

Should you steal my wind may I recommend the use of nose plugs or perchance a gas mask. Better yet. Don't inhale.:lol:

P.S. The maps on my DoD map collection sticky were originally from my image shack account. I moved them to an album in my profile when image shack went down for a day and no one could see the pictures anymore.
Haul those halyards boys and tighten the sheets. We've caught a tradewind.
