WebSense vs eGO

It's come to my attention that edgegamers.us has been added to the new version of the Websense List. Which means... when/if your work/school updates their list from Websense... it WILL be blocked.

At least this means we're getting reallllly big?

I found this list at work. So unless one of the guys at work plays eGO and goes to the site alot I dont see why we'd have to block it.

yea i went on once in school and then the next time it was blocked which sucked alot b/c its just really clean forums about games. half of the sites i tried were blocked by the websense of "games"

Not all companies use the updated lists... It's been out for a while... and we just added it recently. So I guess it depends on the guys your District has for Media.

Yeah the TF2 probably won't be for a bit. It WAS manually added to the list or it'd have detected the TF2 one. Lucky us.

This makes perfect sense though...

The entire Board of Ed and Corporate Masterminds such as Ted turner and bill gates sat down one day in the Hall of Doom rubbing shoulders with the likes of Lex Luthor and Solomon Grundy conversing about global politics and the invasion of the free netspace.

Complaining about just how much Bandwith costs, and deciding that the best action to take would be to bring down the hammer on all those sites that have a loving community of friends and supporters.

Obviously they could not slam on myspace since it topped Yahoo in most viewed site in 2006. So ofcourse the prime target was eGO, being a community that goes completely against the Legion, something like Karl Marx being the antihero to Chuck Norris, but lets not get into that.

So on and on the net battle was fought in secret as the eGO council and the Hall of Doom squared off in the olympic style challenges needed to fight for bandwith Alocation. This ofcourse triggered the need for houses since soon we base soldiers will be put to the test against the Riddler, Gorrilla Grod, and ofcourse Sinestro. So get ready Egos!!
