This post is just to find out who is from Kansas. So, let's get this started! I have some ideas for those of us who are from Kansas, which would be great if we can get enough.

I hail from Burlington, Kansas.

Also: Please do not post if you ARE NOT from Kansas. Posts like "Not Me" "I've been to Kansas once" or "I'm from Seattle, WA" are unacceptable.

Nice, my grandparents used to live up there. Went and visted them all the time, love the downtown area. They moved down to be with the rest of the family.

Ew Cherryvale Imagine that. Someone from a town that my town doesn't really care for.

My idea was, maybe have a Midwest meet. Or, find a place and have a LAN. I attend a LAN every 6 weeks in Emporia. There's a lot of things we could do.

Stuck in Tampa, FL at the moment but relocating back home to Lawrence, KS very soon. Family emergency pulled my wife and I away from home for a bit.

I hail from South Wichita, actually graduated from Derby High in 92 (before the "new" high school was around.) I think they made the actual school i graduated from the middle school. Anyway, I loved it there, 'cept for the tornadoes. Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll(or Rap) were literally the only things to do there...and stay away from the Junior boys or insane crips....we used to cruise Douglas downtown in my 76 Pinto with worn out shocks on the right side, which gave it a "gangsta lean" and some emerson house speakers passed for my "system." Bumping Vanilla Ice and screamin at da *Bleeps.* Anyway, I do kind of miss the slower pace there. Out here in Cali it's go go go, hurry hurry hurry, gimme, gimme, gimme....gets old sometimes.

Haven't lived in Kansas since 92, the military keeps me away. I did visit in 96 though and was not surprised that nothing had changed! Roads straight as a an arrow and still real windy, but I think they closed Douglas for cruising.
