Hey guys.
I have a few problems with my firefox all of a sudden
It's not letting me stay logged into websites anymore or saving any of my settings
and i even checked the setting on my firefox and it indeed says its saving my info
but it wont keep me logged in on any site or save any preferences
can i get some help please

Okay a couple things to try first.

Make sure you don't have that site opened on multiple tabs. I have had an issue where having the site open on multiple tabs would cause it to not allow me to stay logged in.

Restart your computer. While this seems pointless, restarting your computer can resolve some issues.

Reinstall Firefox (If all else fails, attempt a reinstall and see if that fixes your problems.)

Download Google Chrome its much better. Problem solved.

shadow i've done all those things still doesnt work
2. google chrome - had it codings were messed up for a while so not everything was showing up

restore to an earlier point in time maybe? like a day before the problem started occuring. you tried running a virus scan, possibly a virus messing with your settings.

Heres what I do as this as happened to me twice. Search for a file called cookies.sqlite. Rename it something like cookies.tmp or bak or you can delete it. Cookies.txt is for explorer. open firefox and for every sight you should only have to log in the first time. Works for me so far.

For some reason my cookies.sqlite file gets corrupt and does not save correctly upon exit. Just deleting it works for me but I recommend renaming if you are not sure about deleting.

FIX

Delete it completely
Do not let it remember anything that you have saved.
Redownload it and log in and save passwords again
It does it from time to time.
You can delete your cookies from the mozilla firefox folder in your C:/ drive or wherever you put it...
Try those.
