TF2 sprays help

hey guys i have a bunch of sprays in a folder on my hard drive. I go into TF2 and i can see them, they're there, but when i select one it shows up blank. any advice, cause i really want sprays

what are the files formats? and where exactly are they on the hard drive?

They should be in this map: team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos

They are converted to VTF(Valve Texture File), you can convert them back to BMP's with VTFEdit

there format is "Valve Material File", and they are located in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/lordvader99/team fortress 2/tf/materials/VGUI/logos

I do believe that sprays have to be in .TGA in order to work properly

You can import them in any common format (png, bmp, tga) Or if you have a VTF and VMT you can just place the in the folder I specified in my previous post.

thats where they are, they're VMT and they're in that file

k, i just tried in tf2. i found the files, opened them, the thumbnail showed up, but no spray

Did you download these Vmts off a website? If not make sure they are the right size, 256x256 is max.

ok i just tried again in tf2 and it worked on one spray but thats good enough for me
