Really looks like the first MMO to have a chance at taking WoW to the cleaners.:thumbup:

It does look pretty good. But im sorry that i must correct you, the first MMO that will take WoW to the cleaners will be TOR, I now refer you to my light saber hilt.

Not familiar with TOR, but I'm assuming by your comment, it will be Star Wars Galaxies... mulligan.

I find that offensive good sir! TOR is a story driven MMORPG, fully voiced, and it has a unique cover system for smugglers. MMORPG firsts! You call TOR SWG, i call MO a counter-combat version of WOW. So HA!

Do you gain exp/gold and stuff like on any other MMO?

Well, you gain gold through looting and work/contracts/missions. Experience is gained by normal means, but your skill progress as you use them.

Doesn't look to bad. Yea it could use some work but it's still in pre-beta, keep in mind. Mounted combat, finishing moves, magic, siege weapons ... all n all not to shabby, IMO.

Beta opens mid july sometime.


A little sidenote, the auctioned off a Limited Edition (#1 of 1000) copy and it sold for $5000 on ebay. Granted it went to charity, but my god, some people have to much money. It did include a lifetime of free play ... so if this person plays for say 5years, thats only $80 a month hes paying, take that world of warcraft..

For some reason I just see it being another flop, also considering it isnt that well known. No MMO will ever take WoW "to the cleaners" there is so many fans, no one will leave but for another WoW.

Looks cool, I might have to check this out forr abit. sadly, thanks to DAOC, my mmo days are pretty much over. Can't see myself investing THAT amount of time into a game again.
