Any one else smell eGO Battlefield 1943 ?

It looks like it's just for the ps3/xbox 360

Anyways, it's a possibility that I'm sure leadership has begun to discuss.

EDIT: I've also been looking around and I'm finding that a PC release for the game is going to be in the 3rd Quarter of this year, rather than today and tomorrow for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

an eGO server for BF 1943 would be certainly nice as I have ALWAYS enjoyed the 1942 series.
 
Imma buy this game today for 360 then when it comes out for PC I'll buy it as well.
 
The game only has 4 maps. It has limited class selection. just 3 to choose from. Reminds me of the character selection of Battlefield Heroes. its not customizable like the previous battlefield series for PC. The new frostbite engine is being used which is great. First time for PC. This was design around consoles not pc sadly. Players are capped to 24 as well I believe. I rather save my money on this one.

On a side note if the server costs for this game is similar to the previous battlefield games on PC I doubt we will get long time servers. It is very expensive these battlefield servers. I think if there are enough supporters, we might have a server for a month or so just to see how it grows. thats my opinion tho.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm getting the impression this is more of a "Frostbite Engine demo minigame". I have a feeling it'll be better than BFHeroes, though.
 
Yeah, see I'm gonna wait and see. I loved bf1942, and hated every battlefield since.
 
I highly doubt we will get any servers.... we just invested in 2 more neotokyo.
 
I think eGO doesnt need more servers or game divisions. For the time....
 
Just looks like a crappy console version of battlefield. With the player cap, the limited classes, the health recharge....

Just wait for BF3 (which they announced), which will be the true PC sequel.
 
IF battlefield 3 is a VASTLY improved Battlefield 2..... COUNT ME in! Abraham and Challenger tanks please? *puppyeyes*

And about the 24 player cap, maybe it will be removed, or perhaps modded quickly enough, custom maps will be made, heck can't wait to see Tank mods or Fly mods for 1943 then... *drools*

later on through the game EA will post patches with new maps making the game more expensive but i don't doubt that 1943 will be on pc
 
Yup, I think im the biggest fan of the BF series, I GOT THE WHOLE COLLECTION (except 2142)
 
I should be receiving the entire BF2 Collection in the mail sometime this month
