What music puts you "in the zone" for TF2?

Have any of you guys ever noticed that certain genres of music really energize you and, well, just flat-out help you play better? Maybe it helps you keep your focus, maybe it calms you down and helps you aim better?

For me, I absolutely love listening to (and making!) ska music, so it makes sense that ska somehow gives my brain that extra pep to react more quickly in-game and just feel generally more awake!

What about you guys? What music puts you in your TF2 zone? And what does listening to that music do for your game?

By the way, since I know tons of people will ask... these are a few examples of ska:

house techno, or something heavier....oh say like.....

One that I like is Pendulum Slam, (it has a fast paced feel to it) and a few others that are similar don't really prefer vocals in my music while playing. When playing spy I could go for some Bond music. Song is about a minute into this video [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGIISxhYRYE&feature=related[/ame]

I agree with you there SuperSneakyMonkey, ska is great when I'm gaming. It's upbeat and catchy and helps me to focus. I also listen to dubrock sometimes which includes Sublime, Pepper, Iration, and Long Beach Dub All Stars (if you like Sublime then you might like these bands too).

"Danger Zone" Kenny Logins. It puts me in the zone.. the danger zone.

I play the trombone (and some other brass instruments), so ska is definitely the way to go for me. Also some jazz every once in a while to relax and camp as an engy.

RAP/Hip-Hop
Explicit.

Anything by Pendulum makes me better.
Anything that's heavy makes me more suicidal.
Rap makes me suck.
Classical makes me a better pyro.

Usually something heavy.....

I'm going through a massive TF2 + Godsmack phase lately as many of the people on the Dustbowl server I'm sure have been hearing.

Other choice include Children of Bodom, Dream Theater, or Marilyn Manson.

I'm pretty fond of this one.

No matter what I listen to it messes me up. How can you even play TF2 and listen to music at the same time? Especially when you have to pay attention to people talking on mic as well. >_<
