So, as the header image pretty much states, I've been in eGO for 1 full year! What a great experience it has been. I remember when the map dod_palermo first came out for DoD:S. I wanted to try out the map so I went to the DoD:S Server List & looked for a near full server. I randomly picked a server to join & it happens to be an eGO server. I played on that server for a while, then when I got killed out of nowhere, I got a bit mad & started cursing. At first, I didn't know anything about eGO, I didn't know it was a clan >.>. So some admins started talking to me and asked me to watch my language. I did & started playing again. One day as I was playing on eGO's dod_palermo server, an admin asked me to join eGO. I was like, what's eGO? He explained to me everything about it. I decided that I liked what I heard so I made an application in the DoD:S Recruiting Office. It was great being an e in the DoD:S Division! After a while, dod_palermo became unpopular so eGO no longer had a dod_palermo server. I was pretty sad when I heard the news. That's ok, though.
A little while later, I decided to hop on over to the CS:S Division to see what it was like. At that time, everything wasn't global yet so I had to make another application for CS:S. I got accepted & I loved its Leadership & servers. I mostly played on the cs_office server & man was it fun. I sucked, but it was fun. A short amount of time later, I got promoted to an eG by the CS:S Division. It felt GREAT to become an admin! I remember my eG Promotion Report. It was the most detailed essay I ever wrote, & it wasn't even for school! The CS:S Division soon got their very first Jail Server! It was a menace for admins but it was very fun at the time.
A couple months later, I heard news of a new division in eGO! The Insurgency Division had been born. I decided to join the Insurgency Division & help it get started. Even though my computer can't quite run Insurgency to its best, I still play the game & live with the FPS lag. I soon joined the Admin Recruiters for the INS Division & was proud to be one of the very first members of both the INS Division AND the INS Admin Recruiters. Man was it fun to be in this division. A little while later, I got promoted to eGO! It was AWESOME! I remember when Sixxgunn, one of the INS Division Leaders at the time, PM'd me on Steam while I was playing on ins_sinjar. He told me that I had to remove my {A/R} tag & leave the Admin Recruiters. I was shocked! He was a DL, a far higher rank than me, so I just did what he told me to do. A couple seconds after I removed the tag, he told me that he just finished pulling a prank on me. I was like, -_-. He told me that I had promoted to eGO & I was like, NOOOO WAYYY! You pull a prank on me & then tell me that I've been promoted to eGO a couple seconds later? That is AWESOME. We exchanged laughs for a while & man did he get me on that one.
So anyway, here I am after a year of being in eGO. I'm proud to have been supporting this clan for that long! It has had its up's & down's but hey, I'm still here aren't I! eGO has provided me an experience that I think I will never be able to experience again anywhere else. It has been a great time being in this clan (no, I'm not leaving). The responsibilities that I shared with other members & admins of eGO have been hard but without these responsibilities, I most likely wouldn't have stayed here this long.
