I'm not sure if there is any plans already or at least thought to do this, but will the dust_2 server ever get an etb to even out the teams when they're stacked? The past 2 weeks have been horrible because I've played in so many stacked ct games. Mostly 18-15 and then causing t's to leave the game leaving the occasional 18-12 rounds.While some admins have asked e members to switch in game, it seems mostly to no avail plus there has been limited attempts at it.

Responsibility. As a member its your job to say "Hey these teams are uneven, I better switch" That should be a routine of all members and you shouldnt have to be reminded. When you are asked, do as requested as it will make the server more fun and managable.

I've always tried to be on the "loser" team ...
Typically I'm a Terrorist just from the random team selection... which is almost always the losing team. Rarely are the T's actually stacked. (it's typically teamwork at it's finest, not stacking)
The thing from the OP that needs to get mentioned. Admins tell e's to switch...
I can't believe how many times I've actually seen this. Are the admins T when saying this half the time? NO! ... They're sitting on CT, keeping the teams uneven and getting their "points/plinks/kdr" and trying to "look" like the good guys when they ask/tell others to join the unstacked team. Why would anyone listen when the people telling others to switch won't do it themselves? Admins need to set an example, by actually switching ... Not just asking/telling others what to do.
Plus, if you think you're not "good" as a Terrorist ... what makes you think you'll ever get better if you never play as one?

We all need to do our best to keep the servers balanced. I myself will switch about half a dozen times during a map. But just ask to even the teams or in 3 rounds you'll start moving people yourself. E's need to up there standards when it comes to balancing the game and not just e's it goes for everyone.

just a quick note, as an e, ive asked people from first to last place to switch teams to balance everything out, most of the time they'll do it. just ask people to switch or switch yourself, not a big deal, just takes maturity, and if I'm not mistaken, that's what eGO is all about.

there is no way of balancing it out cuz its the system that has to do it. If the admins do it, then it will cause even more of a mess balancing it out

The thing that makes that thread you mentioned brings reason to have this thread though.
It doesn't happen "occasionally" ... it happens a LOT!
Personally if I had the abilities I would do this. I can ask/tell/do as much as I can ... but typically it's ignored.. (I have no power!)

I took this screenshot today. It was the FIRST time I came in... when I came, it was 15-0. The only reason the T's even got a win was because I got some kills in 1 of the rounds. But just look at how many "e's" and then "eG's" are on the CT team ... It's frankly absurd.

look, theres lots of threads about this...and to be honest damn near all of the e's that do no switch are ones that are not active on the forums, and do not know to do so...and ROY as the eG just joined the team, which shows me he probably auto assigned, and it was 15v14 hence placing him on the T side. you can't switch sides if the numbers don't let you.
all of the eGO members being on one team won't necessarily make them win either, its just our attempt at evening it out...hell it could even make it worse, depending on how well we can play together.

there isn't a whole lot we as admins can do about this situation, we can ask the other admins to swap, then we can politely ask the server to balance things out...its a pretty last resort option if we notice the server starting to clear out....we should never use our admin abilities to manually swap other players

I wasn't trying to single-out ROY actually. I had just remembered seeing an eG when I took the screenshot. I am capable of noticing that he just joined, now that I look at it again... I just never actually reviewed the screenshot beforehand. I do understand that there's no guarantee to the eGO members to actually evening the teams and winning once they switch, but initiative must be done first before thinking such things...
Maybe some kind of forum activity should be necessary to be ranked to an eG? I know that it would be extremely off what the current rules are, but heck ... if people want to rank higher and don' take the initiative to get to know their community and problems/solutions for it ... why should they be advanced?
I'm sorry for putting up a bit "dispute" for the argument ... I'm fairly aware that this topic has probably been exhausted ... it's just the first thread on the issue that has come to my attention since I joined. I figured I'd give my view and thoughts on it...

sooooooo.... basically, summing up everything: It happens. try to do what you can. If it still isnt balanced, have some fun. My personal favorites are para, mac10/tmp, and auto shotty rushes.
