The Name Thread

My name - Padre

I got the nickname "Padre" in my fraternity days because I am Catholic. It was originally "Father Nelson" which is a reference to an inappropriate joke about Catholic Priests that I will not post here. It was then later shortened to "Padre" for usability purposes.

I was tryin to come up with a name for my undead priest while I was playing WoW... I've never been good at comin up with names so I came up with Noxx (Like socks with an N :P)

Louis VI dit le GROS(translation in english: Louis the 6th said the big): It comes from an old french king and my friends started calling me that way since a movie witch talk about him and eventually it got stuck to me and this is why I now call myself Louis VI dit le GROS.

Well, I started to intenet game with Counter Strike 1.3 (pre-Steam, oh how life was grand). I started to play with the name Life Line with may may variations of lettering (=EMP=L|f3 L|n3). Then when that clan disbaned I went to Micheal Barnberger, El Ohel and Shh (bleep)'s In Giggles. The bleep is a different word of coarse. The last two stuck for some time then I started to play DoD at Cantalope Island as El Ohel and occationally the last one I shouldn't utter. When that server died, I saw a couple of player with =e= and =eG= and =eGO= playing there before so I googled it and that brought me here. I played Kalt first with the un-utterable name and an admin kindly asked me to change it. I left... after a while I decided that the admin was kind enough to ask me to change it and not force me too or insta-kick me that I decided to check out the site (before the .org site). I noticed that it was a cool site. I was tired of El Ohel and the un-utterable name so I thought back to when I was in school and this one dude kept calling me Monty. I decided to go with that. Then I got accepted into the clan and that has been my name ever since. Took some getting used to because I used to always change my name depending on how I felt that day. Now I will always feel like Monty.

So no, I did not get the name from the movie. It's not "as in The Full Monty?" so stop asking... {:c)~

Greggy was the name of my toon in WoW, and the useless part came from one of the many raids (of 25 people) where I would be the last one standing with the raid boss at like 5% and we would wipe, so the rest of my guild dubbed me useless Greggy becuase I could not finish the job.

patje:pat is short for my real name Patrik
je =little (in dutch)(a word reduction)

patje = little pat

Spencer

My name is Pronounced as you see it Spencer
Its an English name that originated from great Britain around 1845 (Trust me i googled it!)

(IO) SA - confusing I know right? I've heard everything from I-O, ee-o-sah, sah, S-A, and I-O-S-A. Truthfully I really don't care a whole lot (if I did care about my nick it prolly would be more than just a couple letters?) and will respond to any of those. But just for the record, and so it's easy for everyone, the proper pronunciation is just S-A. Those 2 letters; eS-Ay. (IO) is just a group of friends tag which stands for It's On. SA is shortened from my original gaming nick of SilverAce. Exciting, right? ;p

Allster.
All-Ster. Well it sounds just like "Allstar" so just replace the A with an E.
Well it all started with runescape back in 2005.
I didn't really know what to pick as my first screen name so I thought of just a dumb old nick of Allstar.
But, sadly it was taken, so I decided to change the second A into a different vowel.
It was either Allster/Allstir/Allstor/Allstur.
I decided with Allster cause it looked the best. ;)
