APB Is a Gang Violence simulator basically. You join a map/instance thats 100v100 and you decided what you want to do, as in rob a bank, takes hosties, kills some cops, or even become a cop and arrest and kill gang bangers. It's a giant MMO. Think of Grand Theft Auto x100.

Here's the Trailer.

If it's third person ill pass. Third person and shooters just dont mix imo. Atleast on the Pc. Also, dont know if I want to play a MMO that is getting designed for the xbox either... could end up bad.

If you're going to come in late, come in to win it. I don't see that happening. Still I don't know the game play and such, so we'll see.

You should get used to it.....because thats what MMO's are heading twords as we speak.

Pfh, I want. D: But the bad thing is, NO OPEN WORLD?! WAH?! I'd love to be a cop.

This

APB is the third so called "mmo" to not include an open world system(That I've heard of). This is no good, I've played the betas for Huxley & CrimeCraft; both of which have instance only combat. They weren't good.

PlanetSide was fun and was an open world FPS MMO. Where did the great concept of an open world MMO shooter go?

Planetside was amazing, I don't know why more people didnt play it..

Wish they would make a second one.

We need an unnofficial eGO mafia we can all take part in.
If this stays on track and isn't a P2P I'll be in it for sure.
We can go around in green hoodies, yelling bonk at anything that moves.

Xbox was canceled until the PC version is released. The developers want to put MORE into the PC version so they canceled consoles until PC was complete.

Hey all, heres the thing on this game. It reminds me ALOT of GTA: San Andreas. There was a multiplayer mod created for it (free mod), which of course never got any support from Rockstar (because they never found it great or worth it, but I find that the multiplayer mod adds more interest to the game, so their loss). Anyways, APB is just a more polished version of GTA: San Andreas. Only thing I noticed that was an issue (esp w/ this day & age) is the fact that there werent any bullet holes in the cars (or very, very little for that matter). Other than that, it was right on par. Overall, I could frankly care less. Ill give the beta a try, but doubt that ill get impressed w/ it. Also the 100vs100 aspect will mean MAJOR lag issues, which is what made Joint Operations suffer (not to mention some of their graphics).
