I just got a call from Micky Mauder brother of Ken Mauder aka Tech Sgt. Starbuck. It is with a sadden heart that I have to inform eGO that Ken has passed away.

I don't have any details nor do I care.

I only feel a great and profound loss.

The world has just gotten less funny but heaven is cracking up.

I didn't know him well, but I had spoken to him a few times in Ventrilo. From what I knew, he was a great guy.
May he rest in peace.
 
If you happen to talk to their family again, please let them know that they are in my prayers! I have recently lost my father in a freak car accident, so I can sympathize with their situation. God bless the Mauder family!

Rushing the Suzie with rifle grenades will never be the same. You were the one who championed for me to get my O. What I have done in eGO I owe to you.

Ill miss you brother. I talked to ken alot on the phone. he was kind of a loner didnt have a whole lot of freinds but i am lucky to say that i was one of them. Ken was the first person that i can say was a true freind that i have never met. This community will never ever be the same without him. like sad sack said he was a big fan of john wayne. Loved star trek. I regret not being able drive down to meet him.

Damn, Tech was one of the funniest people in eGO i have ever, or probably will ever meet. I will miss his posts.

Rest in Peace, my friend. Although I never knew you personally, I can see the impact you've made on others' lives. This is truly a sad day in the community.


Let's rock the donner server in his honor. Move out!
 
Wow, thats very sad news. I enjoyed playing with him in donner and he always had something funny to say. He gave me a lot of great memories. Im going to miss him.

This is Lt.Wolf, but don't ban rush's account to post a comment to pay my respects to a great man and well beloved friend.

I'm really going to miss him, he was an awesome guy and loved hearing his stories. He was one of the very first ppl i met in ego and loved right away. Due to his age he had no grand children, so i called him Grandpa so that he would have one. Now i feel as though i have lost one. I am very saddend to see him pass away after fighting his recent surgery.

Tech (aka Grandpa) We'll all miss you <3 May the after life treat you better then this one did.

I'm so saddened by his lost. He was one of the first guys I met in eGO, and we played alot of donner together. He was a joy to have on vent and in game, and he will be missed. I feel privileged to have known him.
