Kunai showed me this video, and i think it is a very good guide. it's hard to read the text and watch at the same time so you might have to pause it a lot, but it has a lot of helpful information in it.

*edit* you might want to skip the first 20 seconds cause of language. Sorry frisky.

That guy was really pretty good, he showed him killing people that even had medics, No "Lucky" crit rockets. It was nice and I enjoyed all 10 mins of it. I'd reccomend it, Hell I even learned a couple things =P

Good, accurate guide, though I find that "aerials" (I call them "interceptions") are much, much more important than learning juggling (I call them "airshots").

If you can't airshot properly (I certainly can't with 300 ping on ego), I'd recommend my version of "juggling" (my "juggle" is simply a second bounce). That is, fire a rocket at where he will land, effectively eliminating him.

This is a good guide. I never follow these things however. Once someone tells you how to play, you'll start thinking too much about what you're doing. (Or, at least, I do. (Can I make a stairstab? Where should I aim this rocket? Do I juggle, shotgun, or what? etc etc))

An example:

This guy, an average Joe golfer was teaching his wife to use the driver. He got her to use the putter, and told her to hit the ball as far down the fairway as possible. She did it her own way, and it went straight, not much distance though. He then slowly moved her up clubs, 5 iron, 7 iron etc etc. By the end she was hitting it straight down the fairway.

She did it her own way, and it worked for her. If he told her how to hold the golf club, and tried to alter her swing, she'd probably not learn as quickly as she did. That's the principal I use in all aspects of life.

Anyhow, good guide. I knew most of the stuff anyway.

I never really watched a soldier guide, i've played so much quake i'm used to playing around with a rocket launcher. This is a really good guide though, will help a lot of people out.

My main problem is aerials, once I get those down then I can die happily. Thanks for the vid.

If you need help with airshots, use http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/64670. Spawn a few bots and it makes them bob up and down and they keep spawning. Lets you practice them.
I appreciate the help, but you're trying to get a baby to memorize the periodic table. I'm an idiot on this sort of technical stuff (actually I'm an idiot overall), unless you want to explain it to me step-by-step, "Now put it in your TF2 map folder" "Where's that?". Thanks for trying though.

What I do is, I download the map...extract it with WRAR380 and it gives you a map icon on your desktop.

you then go to My Comp--> Local Disk C-->Program files-->Steam-->Steam Apps-->(your name)-->TeamFortress2-->TF-->Maps (this is where you put the map icon thats on your desktop...just put it at the bottom of the list).

You can also put a copy of it in your download list (i do it out of habit)

After that, go to create a server and pic the map and make sure you look on top it says something but theres 2 tabs one to start the map and one to configure how many bots you want in the game...if you choose 25 bots join one side and all the bots will appear on the other team (if you chose a side and you die choose the other side.)

Hope this helps.

Soldier tactics? They all boil down to shoot rocket at enemy or shoot rocket at feet.

Soldiers don't even have the pleasure of being called w+m1. All they've got is m1.

*grumble grumble* stupid m1 soldiers *grumble*

Good tutorial. Glad to have the things I need to improve on explained to me. Now I will be unstoppable!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....
