Well guys, in an attempt to ease your minds, I would like to point out a few things. First, Valve takes years too take a game from concept to release. This shows that they take their time to make the game perfect. They will extensively test any updates before they release them to make sure it doesn't throw the balance. Of course, in the beginning there will be a TON of soldiers and/or demomen. This mass of explosives flying at your face will make things seem unfair at first, but it will even out when people go back to normal.

Oh they'll definitely be doing an update besides the dispenser and teleporter thing. They said they would be doing updates for all classes and that definitely didn't count as their update.

They will probably give him some crap rocket launcher that is worse with like, faster rocket speed but less damage (or a bazooka one shotter with insane damage), and some gun and shovel that are more WW2 style.

Every class update is worse than the previous, with the exception that the scout update was far worse than the spy+sniper update. I'm extremely worried about what the next updates will do to my beloved TF2.

From what I can see (and my own opinion), it's not so much engie lovers as it is people who don't want the soldier/demo to be next, as they don't need it. If the soldier or demo gets a boost, engies will be "the unplayed". Besides, they practically are already... Each team has MAYBE 1 engie, possibly 2. By contrast, each team has AT LEAST 1 demo/soldier. Usually more like 4... :glare:

i think what is going to happen is the the soldier is gonna come out, and then the endi/demo will come (just like the spy and sniper, cuz the thing that got snipers most, other then other snipers, were spys, because the thing that is most effective against sentry's are stickys), so the engi/demo update will be last, and the soldiers will be the second last, and because the soldiers and demos are already uber, i think that valva will make their weps have more things and sacrifice power, like soldiers could have a high rocket jump, and take less damage, but they dont do crits, stuff like that
