Is anyone ready for Left 4 Dead 2? Or are you like me and think Valve has brought it in too soon. To be honest it looks as though its a repeat of the first game only in a back country type setting. I'm gonna get it only because I was so satisfied with the first one and hope I'm not let down. What does anyone else think, eh?
 
Frying pan, fire axe, chainsaw, incendiary rounds, planes that go kaboom but aren't crashing, cooler people, SOUTHERN, charger...

I'm kind of mad, but I know i'll end up buying it like every new PC game. L4d got me bored for the lack of variety, hope this can put me back in the l4d universe.
 
Well there are also gameplay changes. They've removed the ability to corner melee spam, and for some mini-finales you have to move forward to stop the horde. I think this one will be a lot better.

I'm going to get it, probably on release. The daytime aspect of the game looks awesome.

Valve never makes a bad game. Left 4 Dead 2 is no exception.
 
I will NOT get this expansion pack.

They destroyed L4D for me after they released a patch. I get >10 fps. Valve makes A good game in my opinion which is the half-life series. TF2 was originally a mod, CS:S was originally a mod. And the only game I really play anymore, is INS, which is a mod.

I can ASSURE you atleast HALF of the people in that dumb L4D2Boycott group are going to buy L4D2.
Yeah I am irritated that its already coming out, but thats not going to make me not buy it.
Valve is a great company and it deserves to release games when THEY want, not when WE want.
They have bills too you know? And they're not going to get any profit if all they do is release updates for their old games.
 
I will get it fer sure but will wait til the price drops like it did for the original however it was fun waiting for the midnite release after playing the demo the first time so we shall see

yes but if you acctually read the l4d2bc page you would realize that i acknowlege this, but as a company they still made a promise to release new content for l4d

once valve releases the new content then i will buy it (maybe)

just saying, that when i paid $50 i thought there was going to be new maps etc. like valve promised
4 maps for $50 isn't a going to cut it

Are you just going to not do anything...
OR are you going to go buy L4D2 and enjoy a game filled with new content?

L4D2.

It's not l4d2 so much as it is the unfulfilled promises for l4d. I know they have bills to pay and families to feed; however, they should also not throw their dedicated customers to the side when a glimmer of gold shows up. Besides that, their update broke my game!

l4d2 is the same game as l4d1 except it has new skins and melee weapons. Nothing else has changed. Valve should have released all this stuff as DLC for l4d1 and charged maybe 10 bucks for it. But a whole new game just for different skins and melee weapons isnt worth 50 bucks. Gaming companies will continue to release stuff like this unless you guys take a stand. Show valve that your not some brain dead moron that they can trick into giving them 50 bucks. No offense to anyone and im not picking out anyone in particular. I say this as a general statement.

If everyoen does buy this than what do you think will happen in the future? Expect l4d 3 to come out the following year with new player skins and a flamethrower. Worth another 50 bucks? I didnt think so. Watching the gameplay videos i see absolutely no difference in this game as in l4d1. All the animations are exactly the same. Like i said. You are paying 50 bucks for new skins and maps.......things that can be obtained via fps banana.

Stop whining about L4D2. You know what other franchise has a game per year that has little to no change at all? Madden. No one complains about them. That game gets new characters, so did L4D2.

i made the mistake of buying it for xbox, im gonna get l4d2 for pc, liars, saying patchs will come out

Valve isn't EA you know, they have their reasons.
And guys THEY HAVE PROMISED TO FULFILL THEIR PROMISES! Jeez am I the only one that does research? they just aren't going to do it before L4D2 comes out, they're going to periodically release updates for the two games.

I hate how people get mad without reflecting upon Valve's previous games and Valve's attitude towards the gamers. Even if they didn't release the content, this would be their very first blunder with that kind of thing. Can't you cut the freaking company some slack?
