inexperienced players when euros play

Is it just me who prefer to play at night with the more experienced players? when I play during the day / night it is too many people who have like 1000-1500 points and you get so upset when one of them kill you, I know the score and ranking is not so important but you get so irritated when an inexperienced player kills you in a lucky shot. ( don't deny it, everyone wants a decent rank, but it's more fun to play with experience players). It's probably becuase all the americans plays during the night and since there is a majority of americans here it makes sense that the more experience plays during the night. im talking about european time. Note: im not talking about some members of this organization.

Well, I try not to stress over it too much. Low ranked players do not kill me that much, but I see your point.

i look at it this way, if i'm worring about my points, than i'm not having fun playing the game. i play to have fun, keep ego going and not worry about points.

Yes agreed. But dont deny that it's more fun when it goes good and your rank gets higher. The in-game is a competition and you are supposed to win and play good. However on the forum you can have as much fun as you want. Not that im saying that it's forbidden to have fun in the in-game as well if you'd like.

I generally turn the Point display off so it doesn't matter.

That's when you start rushing and actually having fun.
Camping in the back is NOT fun just to get your points up.

Over the last couple days, I've been practicing on how not to care about the points. I used to get super irritated and would rage quit but when it comes down to it, it doesnt really matter. The way I use the point system now is as an inspiration to not die :lol: Thus resulting in better gameplay on my behalf. But occasional I still rage, when I play.

I know exactly how you feel! Usually from 7 - 12ish it seems theres alot of low point players on who tend to take between 15 - 25 points per kill.

Not cool at all


Example: Waking up in the morning and joining the Flash server. They've got us pushed back to our first and I run out of spawn twice getting killed instantly losing 25 points each!

Normally I play at night (21:00-05:00 EU time) because that's when there really is people on the servers.
I only play the avalanche map though.. But don't think that should matter.
But if I've decided to increase my points by, lets say by 100, and a 25 pointer gets me, I do get pissed off every now and then : p

Same, its fun to play a game when you don't have to worry about raging.
Just forget points, and play for fun!

I don't like the point system at all and I ignore it, I play 100% for fun and enjoyment. In the old dod days points were not used and it was more fun, I remember one clan server I played on if you did not get a flag after 10 minutes of play you were kicked, so you can imagine every one was after flag's, it really was more fun.
