hey guys, i was wondering what u guys use to upload ur tf2 files.. my ss's save as a .tpa and when i rename them from a .tpa to a .jpeg it dosn't work and imageshack dosn't upload those type of files neither does photobucket so i had to go in paint and crop the SS as i play small screen, any way this SS is from uh.. the 15th, I had a SS of today i was like 250-16 but my game crashed :(

but here it is

I hope you guys can see the score if not its 103-6

open the file with paint or adobe, an image viewing/editing program and save it as another type of file.

If you go into the console during game (by pressing the ` key) and type "bind f5 jpeg" (without quotes) the game will save screenshots in jpeg format.

to take screenshots as a jpeg file, type the following into your console in-game:
bind f5 jpeg

all your screenshots will now be taken in jpeg ~

Yeah, you can't just rename the extension to change the file.

There are certain, sneaky ways to precode something to be of two different file extensions at once so that you can switch between the two by renaming the file extension... most often, it's used to make something function as both a .jpg image and a .rar file (often contain more images or whatever) depending on if the file is whatever.jpg or whatever.rar.

But that has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread. :D

ya you can rebind the screen shot key but i do believe the tga files are higher quality so i just stick with that and if i need to post the screenshot i just fire up PS or Gimp and export to jpeg.

You can use Google Picasa and it can upload the .tpa format onto its web albums :)
That's what I do.

Oooo...You got this without me healing you =O Nice nice...Were you drinking your game fuel?
