Hey all, I'm Novint's CEO tomnovint. I spend a lot of time on boards listening to people's thoughts about the Falcon, and chiming in with my 2 cents. I'll be posting more here, though this is my virgin eGo post.
I've been really impressed with edge gamers - very cool community. I like playing on the servers (pretty competitive too - I get pwned worse than a bunch of other servers). Lots of good guys - pretty cool stuff. I have to say it is refreshing to get on a message board and not see tons of trolls too.
pretty funny lol, John's expression on seeing all the boxes
. I've loaded hundreds of Falcons in a room off a semi before, so I can appreciate the sentiment.
We're excited to get Falcons into edge gamers. The Orange Box launch a couple weeks ago was our first AAA game, and our first online game (with TF2). I see edge gamers as a beachhead of sorts in getting the word out to gamers, so any help yall can give in spreading the word would be great. We have the initial 100 Falcons eGo is getting out to the community (including another upcoming contest, so be on the lookout). We're also going to be doing deals for eGo members that will be better deals than the average Joe can get. I'm excited to grow alongside this community, and would always like to hear what people would like to see from Novint in eGo support. Hopefully a bunch of you will be in the Falcon community soon too.
thanks all, tomnovint
