TF2 buy now or later?

Does TF2 ever go on sale? It may be a cheap question, but I'm in college and already have 2k I have to pay off... I know $20 won't be much more, but if I can save anywhere, I been trying to.

Every time a new class update is released, TF2 goes 50% off. Valve hasn't announced when the next one will be, but keep an eye out for it in the next month or so (fingers crossed).

I got the entire orange box on sale for $25 when i bought it a while ago...darn good deal.

I wouldn't hold your breath on any more class updates until the new year comes around. Maybe they'll surprise us, but I doubt it.

Valve operates on their own schedule. Don't cross your fingers, but you can rest in peace knowing that the next update will come out before we all die (it should anyway).

I bet the next update will be out 1-3 weeks. Since Valve's drought of updates was because L4D team captured the TF2 team for helping them in making L4D

L4D2 is in production now, uh oh.

I really didn't care for L4D.. but I guess that is good in a way because i heard they don't have achievements for like 3 of the classes yet. An update is due soon I suppose.

I remember hearing something along the lines of L4D2 wont interfere with the TF2 team this time. Since they've already laid the groundwork for the game, they don't need a whole other team to help supplement it.

Just speculation anyway.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. I'll just check every 3-4 days... and on weekends, but I'm so anxious to get TF2... Till now I'll just leech of KillerTofu XD
