Not letting me into game tf2

Everytime I get on TF2 I click on any of the eGO servers that free and after its done loading and sending the client info it goes to the continue screen. As soon as it gets to this screen the game freezes.
I'm running windows vista ultimate, Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT.

I've heard that problem is rather common, try doing a file integrity check (My Games>Right click TF2>Properties>Local Files>Verify integrity of game cache). If that doesn't work, I'd recommend clearing out all local files of TF2 and doing a reinstall.
