cpu and system temps?

hey i was wondering what good and bad temps are for cpu and system, i was playing assissins creed earlier and it started having weird long lag spikes i have never experienced before in any game so i thought mabye theres a problem :\ ? my gphx card was an ok temp. my system and cpu (according to program, maybe not accurate) say ther are in the high 40's and low 50's. is this hot or not? could heat even cause this kind of problem? its been really hot pretty got the last few days so thats why im mentioning heat, hopfully its just lag from the game or somthing. Ive played it alot already and these weird spiked havnt happened before.

Don't sound like a heat problem...sounds average to me
my sys gets hot when i play crysis

Depends if your using stock cooling and what chips you have, quad cores put out more heat etc.

But those temps are perfectly fine and you shouldn't be worried about them at all.

Assassin's Creed lag spikes are caused by a service that Ubisoft uses to send out information during the game. I recommend you block Assassin's Creed in your firewall, the game is almost unplayable if that service is left open.
