i used to play paintball, but i switched to airsoft shortly after. Airsoft is cheaper, more tactical, and by far more realistic than paintballing. The two things I hated about paintballing is that 1) It is pretty much all about how many bullets you can waste in a second. 2) The people there are jerks. Everywhere I went to paintballing, 75-90% of the people there were the typical 22-28 year olds with tatoos, smoking a cigarette. I was hoping that perhaps they dont act like jerks on the field, but i was wrong. Airsoft on the other hand is 75-90% happy and helpful people.

depends where you play at
better to play with a baptist church or somthin they are very nice
i play at a first baptist church (FBC) and warriors for christ (WFC)
they are very nice and always try to be cheap
:)

Airsoft, and if you say airsoft doesn't hurt get someone to shoot you in the back with a 650fps sniper with a t-shirt on and see if it hurts or not.

AIRSOFT!!! I play with my friends, and they go places like my backyard, or the sandpit down the road from where i live, or this Airsoft place not too far from where i live. Thats completly Airsoft, or so i've heard. I haven't been there yet. But It's real fun with this!

but you know, It's fun just to get friends together and shoot each other, in our t-shirts and shorts! :)

Airsoft, more tactical IMO.

Also psycho's gun looks more like a military gun. Compare to a real AR-15:

I don't really like the paintball alien cannons.

i personally like paintball more because unless you ur playing with the more hardcore stuff u dont know if you hit someone or not because it doesnt really hurt so no one yells out but in paintball..well u can tell whos getting hit and whatnot, i just dont like how it costs more for paintball. and to the tactical difference altho airsoft is more tactical i like paintball because its more realistic to actual warfare

you can be tactical in paintball. Whoever says other wise has never been in competitions. Remember, tactics are just strategies.

I used to play both until I got home one day and found that my dad had sold it to his work buddy for $20. ALL OF IT. He said you haven't played in months, but its because BECAUSE HE NEVER WANTS TO!. I coulda made so much more off of that.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the tactic thing... and really, I've never seen anyone not notice a hit from an airsoft gun, so as long as you play with honest people the only differences between paintball and airsoft are the communities and the guns.

EDIT: That was inresponse to DanZug, Scary Person snuck in.

dead even with my vote, i prefer airsoft because well i have fun doing it and i never did playing paintball. people were mean where i went for paintball.

Airsoft. I love it not only because it's just a more tactical and realistic experience, but for the fact that it attracts a more mature crowd.

Paint Ball all the way...

The only thing I'll ever give Airsoft, is that it is much cheaper then Paintball

i beg to differ on the cheap aspect of airsoft. my main arm cost way over 1500. that isn't cheap in my book, i'm more than your average player tho i guess.

I went to play today with my uncle and my cousins down in Camp Pendleton, holy shnippy's the marines gave us a run for the money. We won though :D

i like airsoft more because the good high end weapons look like real guns not alien guns and airsoft dont have big gas containers

Paintballs hurt....so do airsoft guns if you get hit in the eye(which has happened to me before).....either way i don't own either of them.

I like Paintball... the first time Seth and I went to the paintball range, I was so sore the next day that whined all day :) But it's really fun, hurts like crap though.
