I play fallout 3 WAY too much, but my xbox rroded a week or so ago and now I can not play it.

I'm a Fallout 3 addict and I've got all the DLC's! But I've modded mine with better textures and lots of sound/fx and other graphic changes (the skull mask is the only non-game Item I use)

I can't post pics, but I usually wear (and because I'm a low-life and I have the guidebook (and map of the capital wasteland) right next to me, their modifiers):
Vance's longcoat (+10 small guns, +1 charisma)
Shady hat (+1 perception, +5 sneak)
and use:
Terrible Shotgun
Shishkebab
Chinese Assault Rifle
or if I need to stock up and be ready (super mutant raids):
Tesla Armor with helmet (+25% rad resistance, -1 charisma, +10 energy weapons)
A3-21's Plasma Rifle

I plan on getting the DLC soon. I played Fallout 3 for 32 hours in 1 weekend and beat it. Now its time to do the side quests ^.^

To take a pic in fallout 3 you have to double tap Print Screen, you'll find the screens in the Fallout 3 Data Folder.

Here's some of me and some rare sets of armor. Rifle on my back is Lincolns Repeater and the sword is Jingwei's Shock Sword.

Ashur's Power Armor (The Pitt)

Winterized T51b (Operation Anchorage)

Chinese Stealth Armor (Operation Anchorage)

Cool Business Outfit with Full Length SxS Shotgun

Ashur's power armor aint that great, its the tribal armor you really want.

My going out gear:

The Perforator (Excellent for stealth kills)
The Backwater Rifle (Plentiful ammo and high critical multiplier make this weapon my gun of choice for taking out single targets)
Tesla Cannon (Light weight and packs a huge punch, isn't very useful when people get the drop on you though...)
The Man Opener (If all my guns ever break or I become stupid and drop them I can fight the enemies off with this baby, and it ignores armor!)

Chinese Stealth Armor (Goes hand in hand with the perforator for sneak kills.)
Ledoux's Hockey Mask (+25 ap? Yes please!)
Tribal Power Armor ( +13 ap? And bonuses to a variety of skills and special stats? Oh and it has a nice amount of armor? Sweet)

Note that my character is level 30 with all special stats raised to 10 and every skill at 100...

I have all dlc and im an addict. Cant post build because i have multiple chars and im typing this on my iphone. Broken steel is a must since it lets u keep playing after beating the game and go into the wasteland and finish all the sidequests plus u get the whole questline that comes with it. Also on another note has anyone else got their firelance event? I finally got one after 100 hours on a newer acount and it landed on a building...

I have gotten the firelance on a few characters but it is pretty rare, just wander through all the random encounter locations maybe you will get lucky. Just pray that event doesnt trigger at the super duper mart... I wish I had stilts sometimes.

I've never seen that why so many likes Fallout 3... Maybe I'll reinstall it and give it a try.

When they bring out the DLC for the Playstation 3 I will definetley get it. I think they are bringing out a version with all the DLCs and the original game in a special edition, I'll probably get that. I don't really have a character build, I just go through doing what I think works.

(I usually put up my small guns and stuff)

I have gotten the firelance on a few characters but it is pretty rare, just wander through all the random encounter locations maybe you will get lucky. Just pray that event doesnt trigger at the super duper mart... I wish I had stilts sometimes.

Mine landed on a even taller building, had to save and use like 20 nades to knock it off

Is the Firelance any different than the regular alien blaster you find at the UFO crash site with all the ammo?

And I actually just started playing through the story myself. When I got it at release I ended up watching 2 of my friends play through it in one sitting and didn't feel the need until now. I'm playing small guns and energy guns. Just got the quest to go to the museum to get three dog's satellite dish for the monument. I was pretty surprised that I got a fat boy, rocket launcher, and power armor within my first hour of play... along with every other type of weapon.

I'm debating on getting the 40K mods for it now or beating the story first, then getting them.

Yeah, I need to get a job and get some money before I can buy anything. I'm not even able to pay my bills as of right now... so that comes first. But other than that, yeah I plan on getting BS and Anchorage.

And yeah.. the minigun. I got like 3 of them, but since I have like 15 points in large guns I just dropped them so I could carry more of other more valuable stuff.

I prefer to use light guns in favor of carrying more sellable stuff and more varied clothing. I like to change up my look from Arc Wedling mask masochist to Sheriff, and then throw on some Power Armor.


And I don't think i've ever seen this before, but lately super mutants have been running away from me. They charge me, then I shoot them once, and they run away... I have to actually chase them down and cripple them to kill them. It's much easier when they charge so I can just bottlecap mine them.
