no its a real virus Trojan horcse small.BOG, and not only did AVG pic it up but Adaware, Zone Alarm, and Mc Cafie

it wont do harm yet i have a crapy system that im going to see what it does to it so far its only in the DLL file, if you are funning AVG run a compleat scan and remove all unhealed and then go to the virus vault and delete them there for never coming back

So your telling me some person uploaded a virus into a download on one of the biggest music marketplaces ever... With millions of people that have ipods and all the employees working at Apple.

NOD32 didn't catch anything, im going to go with that.

Yeah they say its only an AVG thing, if you read all the comments, only people with AVG are getting it.
Some AVG update yesterday caused that false alarm on iTunes.

easiest fix for now, is to revert AVG's update to last update, fixed it for me.

i have comfermed its also doing it with nortan and im with Money when will there be a fix and out of my 3 years of running the same AVG and itunes why is this just now happaning

Good news, just updated AVG and Itunes works fine now. Hopefully it's the same with the other virus software thats having problems.

I run AVG and McAfee and had this issue.

Heres whats funny I haven't updated my iTunes in almost 2 years.

iTunes sucks anyway. Its a resource whore and useless. :chair:
