Wow.
That's basically how I would sum up this game so far! It's a new game from EA/Pandemic coming this December. I had a chance to play the PRE-Beta at Comic-Con 2009 this year.
It is a very fun game, and very original. You play an Irish/French race car driver fighting in Nazi-controlled Paris (1941 I believe). You are a "saboteur", one who commits sabotage for the FFF (Free French Fighters) which is la Resistance (French Resistance) after the Germans kill your friends and tighten their grip on Paris.
It has very nice graphics and a unique use of colors throughout the game. In heavily Nazi controlled areas, the game is mostly black and white with only color highlights on things to get the player's attention. As you fight and win, you can fortify areas with "friends" which are basically more Resistance fighters and color will return to the area. I don't think there has been any game quite like this, and it's a definite break from the front line-style WWII games.
It is a third person view, with 1st person-like shooting mixed with gears of War and movement like Assassin's Creed = Fantastic game play!
It releases Dec 8th, and I can't wait, especially considering what I played wasn't even in Beta yet!
Check out the E3 trailer here: http://www.pandemicstudios.com/thesaboteur/
I played it at Comic-Con and beat the level they were demoing. For this I got a 1941 replica Zippo lighter.

Learning curve for everything was about 15-20 minutes for me.
