Quick Jail question

If you are on a map with vents, are CT's allowed to go in to the vents and just wait to see if someone comes down them? Curious as I thought that was same as camping and it happened quite a bit tonight.

Dont know if it follows under this rule or not

You can kill anyone in vent at anytime no questions asked.




However you can't just sit in vents and not move. You can go through to make sure they are clear, but just sitting there is camping.

Ok, well i can take it as they were going through making sure clear. Just cell doors opened, i ran to next cell broke open vent, went in and CT was in there and shot me. Seems they wouldnt need to make sure they were clear if cells hadnt opened yet.

From what you say there was a vent in a cell that person could have spawned in.

Yes, but hadnt been opened yet. I went in and opened it, meaning they went through another way and was waiting for one of us T's to drop down in to the vent.

To answer your question clearly... there are some mistaken accusations of vent camping

1) sitting there... not moving IS considered camping... and is NOT allowed

2) Moving through the vents (such as moving through the Devs vents) while watching where they will drop down... that is NOT considered camping and IS allowed
