YES BLUE STEALTH ur ideas would be gd as wel :P

I'm not gonna suggest a build but, it would be very handy if you maybe started typing out your words, it's very confusing to read that.

He means he wants a pc build with intel cpu and nvidia graphics card. He also wants a mobile case for lan parties. And yes, it is very confusing on how to read that LOL.

I would suggest a build but I do not know what is available at what prices with that currency.

I could read it but with a little effort from his side I wouldn't of made that post :)

note he is sugessting 1500 ? /// 1500 UK? = 2 455,35 US$

im sorry im English what do you expect we can not spell but is that better english for you, no short words in here :p... but yea please ideas are realy welcome

where are you planning on getting the parts from? and does this mean a complete build. so OS, screen, mouse& keyboard, speakers 'cause that's one hell of a big budget.

If you can list these into the thread then I should be able to throw a decent 'shopping list' for you and good call on the nVidia - Intel combo (please don't take me too seriously, don't want to start another nVidia vs. ATI /Intel vs. AMD debate lol)

While it's not for everyone really, I would suggest a shuttle if you can find on your side of the pond. The only worry is that you may not be able to get an uber video card for it. They've probably changed it since I put together my last shuttle (2005) though.

I was a bit of a fanboy for the Intel/nVidia combo (I run it too), but recently after seeing what some of the new Phenoms can do, I lean towards AMD a little more. I'm also pretty impressed with Sapphire's ATI line. A lot of bang for the buck. If you get the top of the line AMD/ATI you get basically the same performance as the other two, but with half the cost.

recently ive seen some companys have this sort of carrying handle for mid tower pcs. its made of some cloth and it goes around the case and has a handle on top so it is easier to carry, cant seem to find any pics though...and with that much money you'll be able to get alot

I recommend getting your parts off Newegg.com, they have good prices there.

The Nvidia graphics card that I would recommend is a GTX 280. But remember, you might need quite a good power supply for a card like that. I'm not sure how much power the GTX 280 takes, but I remember it being a lot for a video card. The GTX 260 would also be a good choice. Those two video cards would be good for Modern Warfare 2 (coming out this November), and it should do great on Valve games (HL2, CSS, TF2, etc).

But, you may want to wait for the ATI Raedon 5000 cards, I hear a lot about them, and they sound excellent. So, I'd also recommend waiting for those cards to come out. NVIDIA may be the brand you've been with for a long time, but ATI's getting better and better.

Those are my recommendations for a video card for your build. Good luck making your rig man!

nible are you planning to buy components and piece together the computer yourself? or are you planning to buy a pre-customized and built computer from a website such as ibuypower, dell, etc?

well let me suggest a monitor

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176107

hp makes brilliant monitors. I own two 22 inchers and they are awesome. I highly suggest the one in the link. And thats a pretty damn good price for the quality and size of that specific one.

Another question, are the mouse, keyboard, OS, and monitor included in the budget you gave us in your first post?

Alrite ill put up a complete build for you with a site just for the specs and reference, newegg.com but u will probably buy it from somewhere else.

Intel/Nvidia Combo

*Processor - Intel i7 920 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202

*Mobo - MSI X58 Platinum (does both CF and SLI) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130220

*RAM - Patriot Extreme Performance (Though any set of ram u want will be fine) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220398

*Hard Drive - (Raid setup or SSD ur choice) Seagate Barracude in RAID http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148469

SSD - OCZ Agility Series 60gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227461

*GPU - Nvidia gtx 275 SLI MSI TwinFrozr OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127429

or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119196

Intel/ATI combo (I RECOMMEND THIS ONE) - i personally wouldnt go with AMD for CPU but i do prefer their graphics cards especially in Cross Fire

*Keep the build pretty much the same but u can make ur own changes to hard drives and ram including in the above build its ur choice.

*Video card - ATI Radeon 4890 CrossFire (This is ultimate and will tear up almost every game especially when u OC it to 1000mhz!!!!!!!!)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127427

This setup will be faster than 275 sli and will beat the GTX 295 also i believe from what i have heard on reviews. When overclocked to 1000mhz which is achievable pretty easily even on stock cooling i heard, this thing will pwn =)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127427

Oh yea for the monitor i would go with an Asus 24 inch

from reading this it looks good, but i would highly recommend not going with SSD. they are prohibitively expensive and are not blazing fast, they are fast, but not fast enough for the price.

I would say if you want a good, fast drive, buy some velociraptors. They are 10000RPM drives and are server quality. Plus, they are made by western digital.

I will put up my build as soon as my question regarding the budget and accessories is answered.

pretty nice build but remember this, he wants to LAN and MOVE THE COMPUTER AROUND ALOT. So basically just change the case, my build from my previous post gives u probably the best lan case that is still a midtower and such and not a lanbox. The cooler master Storm series, it has handles for carrying. I personally have the HAF 932 which u posted and i love it :)

I would also change ur GPU, for around 300 bucks i would go SLI or Crossfire as i stated, the GTX 275 sli on stock speeds and even when downclocked either matches the GTX 295 or is faster at pretty much every game and resolution. The GTX 285 is the best single card solution though if he wants that. I prefer ATI currently but thats just because they are both affordable and as fast or faster. The 4890 crossfire is an ultimate solution right now and TRI FIRE scales amazing too. If ur not building this thing soon though i would wait for the new ATI 5 series or the new GTX series they seem like they will be much faster.
You should really build your own first and ask us to make revisions because i personally like to build cost saving computers that are also as fast as more expensive ones. I think my build was in the mid to high 1 thousand dollar range maybe around 1,500

Forgot about the LAN thing :p

For the case get CM Scout, nice handle bar and great airflow!

If you want to get two cards i recommend going ATI and crossfire.
